FURUNO ECDIS Refresh
The training courses will provide you with refresher training on the functionality and effective use of the Furuno ECDIS. Compliant with regulatory demands for maker-approved type-specific certification.
Relevant for: Navigators operating Furuno ECDIS today or are planning to do so in the future.
Equipment used: Furuno ECDIS (FMD or FEA-series).
Duration: 1 day.
Admission recommendation: IMO Model Course 1.27 or similar generic ECDIS training.
Course content: Theoretical lectures, discussions, and series of demonstrations. Topics are:
Changes in user-interface
S-52 presentation library edition 4.0
Display setting
Route planning
Route monitoring
Course certificate: The basic and advanced training courses are concluded with a compulsory test. If passed, then a certificate is issued.
Price: 400 EUR per person excl. VAT taxes. All prices are exclusive travel and accommodation expenses.
