This course will provide you with the required knowledge of the functionality and effective use of the Furuno FA-170 AIS.
Based on the requirements of the STCW CODE, Table A-II/1 and Chapter VIII, Standards regarding watchkeeping, Section A-VIII/2, Part 4-1 - Principles to be observed in keeping navigational watch, paragraph 36.
Training is performed 100 % online, and you can train anywhere, anytime, at your own pace. The course material is presented in a video format and includes dynamic animations and illustrations.

Relevant for: This course is a requirement for Masters, Chief Mates, and Officers in charge of a navigational watch on board ships.
Could also be relevant for anyone interested in how to operate bridge instruments. This could include Ship Managers, Technical Superintendents, Technical Staff, Marine Engineers, shore-based personnel, yachtsmen; etc.
