This is an online refresher training course to update your knowledge of the functionality and effective use of the Furuno FMD ECDIS (3100/3200/3300/3005 series).

The content of the online training course and the certificate are the same as if you attended a Furuno Refresh classroom training course.

Relevant for: Navigators operating Furuno FMD ECDIS (3100/3200/3300/3005 series) today or are planning to do so in the future.

Duration: Estimated time: 1 working day. This online training course can be taken at your own pace, with the possibility to enter and exit the course as often as you require.

Requirement: Furuno type-specific ECDIS certificate or Furuno IMO Model Course 1.27 certificate.

Course content

• Display setup and setting of safety values

• Route planning and monitoring

• Loading and updating charts and licenses

• Summary of Tools, Alerts, and Sensors

Training documentation: The training course includes continuous testing (multiple-choice tests after each lesson), eliminating the need for a final, conclusive test. When you have passed all tests, a certificate will be generated and issued on the NavSkills Online platform.

Technical requirements for online training: A stable internet connection.
